I launched Redirect Pro yesterday, the first in a new Professional Series of plugins for Textpattern. It’s available for download only by subscribers, who get (amongst other things) access to documentation and support.
As an introductory offer I’ve set the price at $9, same as the member’s discount, rather than the usual $14 for non-members.
The plugin itself is rather less interesting than the payment signup and subscriber account application. Payments are handled by Paypal IPN, and it’s all powered by Textpattern, of course. Here’s what the private subscriber’s page looks like:

The login system and form submission was all created with Bannister, an application framework that fits inside Textpattern. It generates all the input forms from a Textpattern template, and provides session handling and input validation – most of which happens without writing a line of PHP code.
That’s just for starters, there’s more to come yet.

Hi There –
Thanks for all the great plugins todate! Sounds like a good idea that you’re doing.
Could you share some more about Bannister?
Thanks,
Cameron

Seems to work remarkably well.
Easy to use also.
No headaches with mod_rewrite or PHP.

Marios: glad to hear you like it. Feedback from subscribers has been very positive so far; we’ve only had one problem reported, which appears to be specific to one particular web site.
Cameron: I’m putting together an article describing Bannister, to be posted here soon.

Will you release that subscription management tool at some point? Would gladly pay more than 9 bucks for that!
Cheers,
Mike
